Senior Business Analyst - BFSI

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in lending or core banking platforms. The ideal candidate will partner with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements, streamline business processes, and ensure successful delivery of solutions across the loan and lease lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and clients to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.

- Analyze and map business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Manage and prioritize the application backlog in alignment with business goals.

- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and UAT sessions with stakeholders.

- Clearly articulate business needs and solution outcomes across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

- 4-8 years of relevant experience in lending or core banking platforms with a focus on the asset side of the balance sheet (loan/lease lifecycle).

- Proven ability to gather and document requirements, manage client expectations, and support end-to-end project execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with technical acumen.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in Agile and hybrid implementation methodologies.

- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

- Exposure to leading banking or lending applications.

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills.
