Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Postgraduate in Commerce, Accountancy, or related discipline
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Auditor Risk Unit to join its Treasury & Risk Audit Department. The role requires expertise across multiple risk domains, including ALM, ICAAP, Stress Testing, Credit Risk, Model Risk, Outsourcing Risk, and Fraud Risk. The incumbent will lead a team in conducting independent audits, evaluating regulatory compliance, and strengthening the Banks risk governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audits covering ALM, ICAAP, Stress Testing, Credit Risk, Model Risk, Outsourcing Risk, and Fraud Risk.
- Assess compliance with RBI regulations, Basel guidelines, and internal risk frameworks.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management controls, operational processes, and governance mechanisms.
- Review methodologies for ICAAP, Stress Testing, and Model Risk validation to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Oversee audits of outsourcing arrangements and assess risk mitigation practices.
- Conduct independent review of fraud risk frameworks, including detection, investigation, and prevention controls.
- Identify process gaps, control deficiencies, and regulatory non-compliance; recommend actionable improvements.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Mentor, guide, and manage audit team members, ensuring timely and effective completion of assignments.
Candidate Profile:
- 710 years of relevant audit/risk experience in the Banking industry.
- Strong domain knowledge of ALM, ICAAP, Stress Testing, Credit Risk, Model Risk, Outsourcing Risk, and Fraud Risk.
- In-depth understanding of banking operations, treasury processes, and risk governance structures.
- Excellent knowledge of RBI regulations, Basel norms, and other applicable guidelines.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and report-writing skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Qualification: CA / Postgraduate in Commerce, Accountancy, or related discipline.
