Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution - Law Firm - LLB

A leading dispute resolution practice at a well-established law firm in Delhi is looking to hire a Senior Associate to work on high-stakes commercial disputes, infrastructure arbitrations, and regulatory litigation. The team handles complex cases before the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals, and arbitral panels, representing a diverse clientele, including multinational corporations, PSUs, and private entities.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Litigation & Arbitration: Represent clients in commercial disputes, construction arbitration, infrastructure claims, and regulatory litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals.

2. Strategic Case Handling: Work closely with partners to develop litigation and arbitration strategies, ensuring strong case preparation.

3. Drafting & Advisory: Prepare pleadings, writ petitions, special leave petitions, arbitration claims, applications, and written submissions with precision and legal depth.

4. Client Management: Engage directly with clients, providing strategic advice on dispute resolution and pre-litigation risk assessment.

5. Court Appearances: Assist in hearings before the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT, NCDRC, and other regulatory tribunals, briefing senior advocates when required.

6. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior associates in research, drafting, and case management.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 5-7 years of pure law firm experience in dispute resolution, with a strong focus on commercial litigation and arbitration.

- Pedigree: Strong academic background with an LL.B. degree only. No in-house experience will be considered.

- Law Firm Background: Candidates must be from top-tier law firms with a strong disputes practice.

- Expertise: Prior experience in infrastructure, construction, EPC disputes, regulatory litigation, and commercial arbitrations is highly preferred.

- Skills: Strong litigation strategy, drafting, oral advocacy, and research skills, with the ability to manage complex disputes independently.
