SAP Sales Distribution Consultant

Position Overview:

- We are looking for an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join a leading global organization on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model and be part of a dynamic SAP team, contributing to global implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.

- The ideal candidate will bring in-depth SAP SD module knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in working across diverse functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP SD Configuration & Customization:

- Lead configuration of SAP SD module including order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.

- Customize solutions based on business requirements ensuring minimal custom code and adherence to best practices.

Business Process Mapping:

- Analyze current business processes and map them to SAP best practices.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement innovative SAP SD solutions accordingly.

Project Involvement:

- Work on SAP implementation, global rollouts, and enhancement projects.

- Support project planning, scoping, and timelines for SAP SD-related tasks.

Cross-Functional Integration:

- Collaborate with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and WM for seamless end-to-end process execution.

- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

User Support & Training:

- Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents related to SD module.

- Create and update documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

- Conduct training sessions for end users and key stakeholders.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.

- Coordinate and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

- 710 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.

- Strong knowledge of SAP SD processes including sales order processing, delivery, billing, and pricing.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory).

- Sound understanding of integration with MM, FI/CO, and other SAP modules.

- Experience with IDOC processing, EDI interfaces, and debugging is a plus.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to interact with stakeholders, understand business needs, and translate them into SAP solutions.

Nice to Have:

- Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, or FMCG industries.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

- SAP SD certification (optional but preferred).
