About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting SAP financial solutions, possessing a deep understanding of finance business processes and strong leadership capabilities. This role will be crucial in driving the planning, design, and deployment of SAP's financial modules for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of SAP FICO implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support, for 1-2 end-to-end SAP projects.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI and CO modules, specifically focusing on:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP FICO functionalities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with distributed team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of finance business processes to identify areas for improvement and propose SAP-enabled solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), adhering to established methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and data issues related to SAP FICO modules.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for ABAP developments and work closely with technical teams.
- Conduct user training sessions and create comprehensive documentation (e.g., configuration documents, test scripts, user manuals).
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends in finance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of overall experience in SAP, with a strong focus on SAP financial solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in various leadership roles involved in the planning, designing, and deployment of SAPs financial solutions.
- Involved in 1-2 full lifecycle, End-to-end SAP Project Implementations.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL) configuration and processes.
- Accounts Payable (AP) configuration, vendor master data, invoice processing, and payments.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) configuration, customer master data, invoice processing, and collections.
- Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CCA/PCA) setup, master data, and reporting.
- CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) configuration, derivation, and reporting.
- Strong team-building skills, with the ability to build quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.
- In-depth finance business experience working on SAP planning, design, and implementation projects.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proven experience in troubleshooting system & data issues and providing effective resolutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills (Good to Have):
- SAP FICO Certification.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
- Integration experience with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PS).
- Experience in the manufacturing or related industry.
