The Company:


GROWTHSPIRIT, an investing Arm of a Greenfield Project in Renewable Energy, has envisioned a dream project of setting up a 300 MW Solar Power Generation Plant with backward integration of manufacturing Solar Glass by establishing a 300 TPD Solar Glass manufacturing Unit. The company has 600 acres of land for the project site and has lined up the finances. It has also been envisioned to set up a Cement Plant in South India. The promoters have 4 decades plus experience in EPC and manufacturing.


Job Title: CEO - Solar and Glass Project


Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat State.


Employment Type: Full-time, on-site


Reporting: The Managing Director


Job Summary:


- The CEO will spearhead the strategic, operational, and financial leadership of a company focused on solar energy and solar glass manufacturing. This role demands a visionary leader with deep industry knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive innovation and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:


- Define and execute the companys long-term vision in solar and glass technologies. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with market trends, sustainability goals, and technological advancements. Represent the company to stakeholders, regulators, investors, and the public.


Business Development & Growth:


- Identify and pursue new revenue streams, partnerships, and market opportunities. Oversee expansion into new geographies or product lines. Foster innovation in solar panel efficiency, glass integration, and smart energy solutions.


Financial Oversight:


- Ensure profitability and financial health through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.


- Collaborate with the CFO to secure funding and manage capital expenditures. Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with business goals.


Operational Excellence:


- Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, R&D, sales, and supply chain. Implement ERP systems and performance tracking tools. Drive continuous improvement in plant operations, safety, and compliance.


Regulatory & Legal Compliance:


- Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and industry regulations. Maintain documentation and reporting standards for audits and certifications.


Talent & Culture:


- Build a high-performing leadership team and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.


- Lead talent development, succession planning, and performance management. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.


Qualifications & Experience:


- A bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Renewable Energy) is foundational.


- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), especially with a focus on Strategy, Operations, or Sustainability.


- Advanced degrees in Environmental Science, Energy Systems, or Glass Technology can be advantageous for technical leadership.


- 20+ years of leadership experience in solar energy, glass manufacturing, or related industries.


- Proven track record in scaling businesses, managing complex operations, and delivering financial results. Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, sustainability frameworks, and global energy markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


- Regulatory Knowledge, Awareness of environmental, energy, and safety regulations.


Industry-Specific Skills:


- Solar Technology Insight: Deep understanding of PV systems, energy storage, and grid integration.


- Glass Manufacturing Knowledge: Expertise in float glass, tempered glass, coatings, and smart glass.


- Sustainability & ESG: Familiarity with carbon neutrality goals, circular economy, and green certifications.


- Regulatory Navigation: Awareness of environmental laws, energy policies, and safety standards.
