We are looking for a Sales Manager - Polymers to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities in Eastern India. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in polymer packaging, engineering plastics, and chemical industries, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Manage and achieve sales targets (volumetric & value-based) for polymer products.
- Customer & Key Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients across the value chain.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business and market opportunities in Eastern India.
- Receivable Management: Ensure timely customer recoveries and financial control.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Sales, SCM, Finance, and Operations) to align business strategies.
- Reporting & Compliance: Timely submission of sales reports and market analysis.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemistry, Plastic/Polymer Technology (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: 4+ years in sales (B2B) /commercial management, preferably in an MNC or national-level company.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian chemical & polymer industry.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and commercially.
- Highly motivated & results-driven with minimal supervision.
- Experience in banking transactions & documentation (preferred).
