Must-Have:
- Experience in Real Estate, IPCs, architects, workplace interior fitout, design-and-build, or fitout industry suppliers is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; confident presenter to C-suite and facility/real-estate teams.
- Excellent organizational, pipeline management and networking abilities; track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
- Ability to work proactively with minimal guidance, handle ambiguity, and manage cross-functional stakeholders through the sales-to-delivery handover.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and MS Excel for reporting and forecasting.
Role overview: Responsible for driving end-to-end business development for workplace interior fitout, design-and-build, base-build and greenfield projects. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders (developers, IPCs, architects, property consultants, leasing agents, corporate real estate teams) and convert opportunities into revenue while ensuring smooth handover to delivery and billing coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify opportunities, set up and lead meetings, present company capabilities and tailored solutions; follow consultative selling approach to map client needs to solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle: proposal development, RFP/RFQ responses, commercial negotiation, contract closure, and support handover to delivery including billing coordination and initial project onboarding.
- Maintain and update CRM with pipeline, forecasts and activity notes; use data to prioritize accounts and inform strategy.
- Research target organizations and competitor activity (including property consultants and interior design & build firms) to identify opportunities, threats and win themes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure high service levels, repeat business and client loyalty; pursue account expansion and cross-sell opportunities.
- Prepare accurate proposals, commercial terms, and maintain an up-to-date client database and pipeline information.
Skills & Expectations:
- Strong presentation, negotiation, pricing and client-management skills; experience handling commercial terms and contract discussions.
- Self-starter attitude with strong networking and relationship-building capability; comfortable engaging with executives and procurement teams.
- Analytical and research mindsetable to perform competitive analysis, account mapping, and opportunity qualification.
- Familiarity with pre-sales activities: scoping, estimations, Bill of Quantities inputs, and coordination with delivery/estimation teams.
- Comfortable working to monthly/quarterly sales targets and reporting on KPIs such as pipeline value, conversion rate, average deal size and sales cycle length.
