Job Description: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Brand Focus:

- Focus on the assigned brands for marketing and business development activities.

- Should make a strategies plan to promote these brands effectively in the market.

2. Market Research and Customer Identification:

- Conduct extensive market research to identify prospective customers.

- Visit customers to understand their needs or concerns and report to your reporting managers.

- Submit detailed reports via email in the following formats: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. Timely submission of these reports is mandatory.

3. Customer Retention and Visits:

- Retain allotted customers through regular engagement.

- Visit allotted customer at least once every month,

- Ensuring a minimum of one customer visit per day.

- Send a follow-up email to customers, copying the concern team and reporting manager, which proves the visit.

- Send MOM (Minutes of Meeting) as per the provided format for each visit.

4. Product Planning and Visits:

- Plan and coordinate visits with product managers (from Bangalore) to target specific products for customers.

- Ensure these visits occur once every quarter to align with the product strategy for the customer.

5. Sales Key Account Management:

- Manage and nurture key sales accounts as assigned.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive sales growth.

6. Product Line Card Expansion:

- Actively work on the expansion of our Product Line Card by Identify opportunities to introduce new products to the market and increase the breadth of offerings.

- the candidate is aware of their responsibility to stay updated with company policies and adapt to changes as required.

7. Adaptability and Cooperation:

- Cooperate and align with new changes within the organization whenever required, ensuring smooth implementation and transition.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

- Strong research and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Self-motivated and goal oriented.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Ability to learn new products line and effectively introduce them to customers as needed.

- Number of new customers identified and engaged.

- Frequency and quality of customer visits and reports.

- Customer retention rate.

- Sales growth in allocated customer.

- Expansion and success of new product lines introduced, ensuring alignment with authorized brands.

This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to business development, with a focus on achieving targets and driving growth through effective customer engagement and market research.
