
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst IT to support our sales team by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive sales performance and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis combined with an understanding of the IT industry and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts to sales leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor key sales metrics such as pipeline health, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue attainment.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth and recommend actionable strategies to improve sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment on targets and KPIs.
- Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting by providing data-driven insights and projections.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support sales planning and positioning.
- Support CRM management, ensuring data quality and integrity in sales systems.
- Develop and automate reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights as requested by sales leadership and other departments.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 5 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or data analytics, preferably in the IT sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales processes.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, concise manner.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of SQL or programming languages (Python, R) is a plus
