Responsibilities:

- Overall Maintenance Leadership: Take overall responsibility for all maintenance activities across the solar module manufacturing plant, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and other relevant disciplines.

- Best Practices and Policies: Contribute to the creation and implementation of best manufacturing practices, maintenance policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve overall business performance and operational efficiency.

- Plant Process Alignment: Ensure that plant maintenance processes are in place to effectively meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost efficiency, product quality, and adherence to delivery targets, enabling the company to function effectively.

- Policy Ownership: Take full ownership of the Production and Maintenance policies, guidelines, and any associated documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date, effectively communicated, and consistently followed.

- Manufacturing Innovation: Initiate and develop creative and innovative manufacturing processes and maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

- Cost and Productivity Programs: Lead the development and implementation of variable cost and productivity improvement programs across all areas of maintenance responsibility within the plant.

- Production and Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and manage the master maintenance schedule, aligning it with the overall master production schedule, and consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance targets to support production goals.

- Planned Maintenance Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to ensure the plant is kept safe, compliant with regulations, and operating at optimal efficiency.

- Reliability Improvement: Drive significant improvements in the reliability of key machinery and equipment by implementing and refining a best-in-class planned maintenance strategy, focusing on proactive measures.

- EHS and Quality Compliance: Ensure that all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), manufacturing, and quality standards, procedures, and regulations are strictly adhered to throughout all maintenance activities.

- Departmental Objectives and Performance: Set clear and measurable department objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance team, and regularly review and assess the ongoing performance of direct reports against these objectives.

- Team Leadership and Development: Provide strong leadership to all departments under control, actively coach, mentor, and develop direct reports, and manage a high-performing maintenance team that consistently delivers continuous improvement, added value, and cost reductions.

- Cross-functional Communication: Ensure strong and effective communication between all teams under leadership, as well as with other departments (Production, Quality, Engineering, etc.), to facilitate the seamless exchange of information and to effectively implement change and improvements across the plant.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing maintenance teams. Prior experience in the solar module manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

- Deep understanding of various maintenance methodologies and best practices (e.g., TPM, RCM, Lean Maintenance).

- Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems commonly found in manufacturing equipment.

- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.

- Knowledge of quality management systems and their impact on maintenance processes.

- Ability to manage budgets and control maintenance costs effectively.

- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
