
Inside Sales Manager
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our inside sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B or B2C inside sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales strategies.
You will be responsible for managing a team of inside sales executives, implementing effective sales processes, optimizing lead conversion, and closely collaborating with marketing and product teams to align strategies and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Own and drive the inside sales strategy to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Design and implement scalable sales processes including lead generation, qualification, follow-up, and closing.
- Work with the marketing team to align campaigns with the sales pipeline and maximize inbound lead conversions.
Team Management:
- Hire, train, coach, and manage a high-performing inside sales team.
- Monitor team KPIs such as call volumes, demo bookings, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, sales training sessions, and 1-on-1s to build a motivated sales culture.
Lead Management & Pipeline Development:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on all qualified leads.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to track sales activities, deal stages, and team productivity.
- Identify opportunities to optimize lead nurturing and conversion through automation and personalization.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their needs and offer tailored product/service solutions.
- Support the team in closing complex or high-value deals as needed.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth handovers and post-sale satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to leadership, including forecasts, wins/losses, and pipeline status.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and lead teams effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
