
Recruitment & Hiring:
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies as per UGC/AICTE/Management norms.
- Sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, collaborating with hiring managers, managing the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Tracking recruitment metrics, and building a strong candidate network to attract top talent for the college.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuing timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages and other compensations.
- Oversee payroll systems to ensure proper data entry, validation and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with the RSST/Institution policies and Statutory regulations such as EPF, ESI, Professional tax, TDS, Gratuity Etc.,
Statutory, Compliance & Auditing:
- Ensure payroll processes comply with labour laws, tax regulation and RSST service rules.
- Oversee payroll related returns filing (PF, ESI, TDS etc.,) within stipulated timeliness.
- Collaborate with HR auditors during internal /external audits, provide accurate and timely payroll information.
Employee Relations and Support:
- Address all employees queries regarding payroll discrepancies, salary structures, benefits and deductions.
- Oversee entry and exit formalities are correctly handled.
- To deal with employee's unions.
System Management & Improvements:
- Liaise with RSST and RVIC team to manage and improve payroll software and systems for enhanced efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline payroll operations and ensure better control mechanisms
Budgeting & MIS:
- Preparation of Annual HR Budget of the college and monitoring of the successful utilization of the same, on a quarterly basis.
- Generate monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports for management.
- Analyze payroll costs and identify HR trends.
Training and Development:
- Identifying employee skill gaps, designing and implementing training programs to address those gaps.
- Providing mentorship opportunities, evaluating training effectiveness, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the college.
- Oversee the process of SAP-ERP in respect to HCM/SF and BPC, Supervise and control monthly activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- To handle full spectrum of HR role and be responsible for day-to-day HR operations.
- You are expected to wear only formal dresses as per RSST policy. Dress should be modest and decent.
- Whenever you represent the Institution during Seminars, Presentations, Tours, Picnics you will maintain dignity and image of the college.
- Whenever conferences, seminars, workshops, Management Fests and Cultural activities are organized by the college, you are expected to work as per the instructions of the principal.
- Any other relevant responsibilities entrusted by the Principal.
