This was possible by bold investments in product design and go to market.
The division also has forayed into traditional snacks and Ayurveda ( Dr Vaidya's). The group is now in earnest to build the FMCG business in India through bold organic growth and acquisitions.
About the Role:
- We are looking for a Business Analyst in the E-commerce team to drive data-driven decision-making across our business operations, Channel strategy, and digital marketing efforts.
- The role will focus on extracting insights from multiple e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, including Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Purplle, and BigBasket.
- The ideal candidate will leverage data to improve operational performance, help optimize campaigns, and assist in driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Insights & Strategy:
- Analyze sales, pricing, promotions, and category trends across e-commerce platforms.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention.
- Provide insights on assortment, inventory management, and fulfillment optimization.
- Benchmark performance against competitors and industry trends.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key metrics across channels
- Monitor and analyze platform-wise performance to identify improvement areas.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Generate predictive insights using historical data and industry benchmarks.
Digital Marketing Analytics:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across channels.
- Optimize ad spend and performance across channels.
- Identify customer cohorts, engagement trends, and conversion bottlenecks.
- Work with marketing teams to refine strategies based on data insights.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with channel managers, supply chain teams, and marketing teams.
- Work closely with platform account managers to leverage data for growth strategies.
- Support senior management with ad hoc analyses and business case development.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: B-Tech - IITs (7 pointer or above)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL etc
- E-commerce Knowledge: Experience with various channel platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Pi, Flipkart Seller Hub etc.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of e-commerce operations, digital marketing, and channel management.
