Job Title: Unit Finance Controller

Location: Nashik

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Unit Finance Controller to join our team at our Nashik property.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations at the unit level, including reporting, budgeting, compliance, and analysis to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and monthly MIS reports for the hotel unit

- Monitor and manage unit-level budgets, forecasts, and cost controls

- Ensure accurate accounting entries and compliance with internal and statutory financial regulations

- Analyze financial performance metrics and recommend areas for improvement in profitability

- Oversee audits, internal controls, and ensure adherence to SOPs and hotel brand financial policies

- Collaborate with operational teams to align financial goals with business objectives

- Supervise accounts receivable/payable, payroll, inventory, and cash flow management

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and coordinate with the corporate finance team

- Conduct variance analysis and support in preparation of strategic financial plans

- Provide actionable financial insights to the unit GM and management team

Key Skillsets Required:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and hospitality finance operations

- Proficiency in accounting software and hotel ERP systems (e.g., IDS, Opera, SAP, or similar)

- Solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial processes simultaneously

- Knowledge of hotel industry KPIs and operational metrics is a strong advantage

Qualifications:

- Master's/Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce

- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA (preferred)

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality sector
