
Senior Sales Manager - Motor Commercial Vehicles (CV)
Job Description:
- The Senior Sales Manager - Motor CV is a strategic leader responsible for driving the sales and market share of commercial vehicle insurance products.
- This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive and commercial transport sectors.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle market, insurance products, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets for motor commercial vehicle insurance.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Provide regular coaching and performance feedback.
- Business Development: Identify and acquire new business opportunities, including partnerships with CV dealerships, transport companies, and corporate fleets.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and channel partners.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the sales budget and monitor expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- An MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the motor or commercial vehicle insurance sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
