Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive Recruitment to manage end-to-end hiring processes for our automobile manufacturing unit.
The role focuses on sourcing and recruiting talent across various functions, including shopfloor, technical, engineering, and corporate roles.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with bulk hiring, technical recruitment, and working in a high-volume, time-sensitive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Planning & Coordination
- Understand manpower requirements from department heads and plant managers.
- Develop job descriptions and specifications for open positions.
- Plan and execute hiring drives for blue-collar and white-collar positions.
Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Source candidates through job portals, campus drives, recruitment agencies, social media, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct telephonic interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs.
Interviewing & Selection
- Coordinate technical and HR interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct initial HR screening to assess candidate fitment.
- Manage interview scheduling, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
Offer Management & On boarding:
- Handle negotiation and release of offer letters in coordination with the HR Manager.
- Ensure smooth pre-joining and on boarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records of offers, joining, and drop-outs.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
- Maintain recruitment trackers and generate reports on hiring status, TAT, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs (cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, source efficiency, etc.
Vendor & Campus Coordination
- Coordinate with external recruitment consultants and staffing agencies.
- Liaise with technical institutes and ITIs for campus hiring of diploma and operator-level roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- 26 years of hands-on recruitment experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with shop floor and technical hiring (maintenance, production, quality, R&D).
- Knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance for recruitment, and blue-collar hiring practices.
Skills Required:
- Strong sourcing and screening skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Team-oriented, with strong coordination and follow-up skills.
