Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Identify target audiences and create tailored content strategies for each platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.
Content Creation & Curation:
- Plan, create, and curate engaging, high-quality content (text, image, video, GIFs, stories, reels, etc.) that resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand voice.
- Oversee content calendar planning and scheduling across all social media platforms.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters to produce compelling visual and written content.
Community Management & Engagement:
- Actively monitor, listen to, and engage with our online community across all social media channels.
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with followers.
- Identify and engage with influencers, brand advocates, and relevant communities to expand reach and build brand loyalty.
Paid Social Advertising:
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to achieve specific marketing goals (e.g., lead generation, website traffic, brand awareness).
- Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and budget management for optimal campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics (e.g., reach, impressions, engagement rate, conversion rate, ROI).
- Use social media analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to optimize social media efforts and demonstrate ROI.
Brand Management & Reputation:
- Ensure brand consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media communications.
- Monitor brand mentions and sentiment, and proactively manage online reputation.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans for social media as needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent messaging.
- Educate internal stakeholders on social media best practices and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience managing social media for a brand or agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- Proven track record of developing and executing effective social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics, native platform insights).
- Demonstrable experience with paid social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong copywriting abilities.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and how they apply to social media.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for basic content creation.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and how they intersect with social media.
