Experience:
- 10+ years experience out of which a minimum of 5 years in a similar role with relevant general liaison/BD/management experience with Government clients.
Role:
- The position will involve heading the entire BD & liaison activity in the state for all verticals.
- This is a strategic state specific leadership position responsible to oversee BD operations.
- The position is also responsible for ensuring effective implementation of Companies entire Business Plans at State Level.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the Plan, organize and establish liaison and control with complete responsibility over BD functions.
- Monitoring daily developments within the State Transport Departments.
- Guide the sales and marketing team for development of a strong customer base, supporting relationship management for key strategic customers, driving exploration of new markets and regions.
- Set up budgets for the BD and effectively implement the same.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer/Department relationships.
Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of managing BD activities preferably with Govt agencies.
- Knowledge of liaison planning and execution.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Knowledge of statutory rules and regulations with preferably with respect to Road Transport and Road safety.
- Strategic Orientation, Analytical & Lateral Thinking, Excellent Business Acumen, Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong Planning & Organizing, Effective Communication and Presentation Skills.
