Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead, Learning & Development (L&D) to join our Human Resources team. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping our learning culture, designing impactful training programs, and empowering our workforce to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, implementing innovative learning solutions, and aligning L&D strategies with our organizational goals.


What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)


Strategic L&D Program Design:


- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive and effective employee training programs, including but not limited to, process training, soft skills, leadership development, and technical modules.

- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and impactful learning content for various delivery methods (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning, blended).

Needs Assessment & Gap Analysis:


- Conduct thorough training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across various teams and departments within the organization.

- Work closely with department leaders and stakeholders to understand their current and future talent requirements.

Program Implementation & Delivery:


- Oversee the end-to-end execution of training initiatives, ensuring high quality and effective delivery.

- Facilitate training sessions as needed and manage external trainers or vendors when appropriate.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:


- Establish clear metrics and methodologies to monitor and evaluate the success, effectiveness, and ROI of all training initiatives.

- Prepare regular reports on training outcomes, participation, and impact on business objectives.

- Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and evaluation results.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment:


- Collaborate closely with department leaders, HR Business Partners, and senior management to ensure L&D strategies are fully aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.

- Act as a trusted advisor on all learning and development matters.


Coaching & Development:

- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to employees at all levels.

- Champion a continuous learning mindset throughout the organization.

LMS Management & Technology Integration:


- Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) to track training progress, record achievements, and provide accessible learning resources.

- Explore and integrate new learning technologies and platforms to enhance the learning experience.

Budget Management:


- Manage the L&D budget effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.


Who You Are (Qualifications)

Required Experience & Skills:


Experience:


- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on Learning & Development, training, and talent management.

- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating successful training programs in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Background:


- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD) are a plus.

Technical Skills:


- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.

Soft Skills:


- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to L&D.

- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
