Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and AIS 140 GPS Device market, particularly within government projects.
This role requires end-to-end business management, exceptional relationship-building skills with government agencies and PSUs, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and ensuring project completion.
The Business Head will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing tender bids, ensuring revenue assurance, and overseeing all aspects of government liaison and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
market share growth in the VTS and AIS 140 GPS Device sector, with a strong focus on government and PSU projects.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers within various Government Agencies and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to build a healthy and sustainable pipeline of business.
Government Projects & Tendering:
- Lead the end-to-end tender bidding process, including bid preparation, proposal writing, technical compliance, and commercial negotiations, ensuring timely and competitive submissions.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of AIS 140 GPS Device specifications and compliance requirements for government projects.
Sales & Revenue Assurance:
- Implement strategies for revenue assurance from existing clients and new projects, ensuring timely payments and financial health.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and generate regular reports for senior management.
Operational Management & Project Oversight:
- Ensure effective project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of all assigned projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with technical and support teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Government Liaison & Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all government regulations, compliance requirements, and legal frameworks relevant to VTS and GPS device deployments.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Potentially build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Local Language Proficiency:
- Leverage knowledge of local languages to enhance communication and build stronger relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and AIS 140 GPS Device technologies and market dynamics.
- Extensive experience in securing and managing Government Projects and working with PSUs.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end management of a business unit.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships with Government Agencies & PSUs to build a healthy pipeline of business.
- Proficiency in identifying opportunities & bidding for tenders from various sites/sources on a regular
basis.
- Accountability for Revenue assurance from clients.
- Strong background in Government Liaison & compliance's.
- Proven track record of ensuring budgeted sales & targets.
- Excellent Project Management/overseeing project completion skills.
- Proficiency in Local Languages relevant to the Gurgaon/Gurugram region.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with a strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Minimum 15+ Years of experience in business development, sales, and project management, with a significant focus on VTS/GPS devices and government projects.
Age: Not more than 45 Years
Education Qualification: Graduation / MBA / PGDBM / Equivalent from a recognized institution.
