Risk & Underwriting Manager - Loan

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Credit and Business teams to monitor and mitigate risk exposure across lending products

- Develop strategies for underwriting, collections, pricing, and operations to optimise performance.

- Utilise and implement alternative data strategies to strengthen Business Rule Engines and credit underwriting

- Support the COO and Credit team with insights to drive data-backed decisions

Qualifications and Skills:

- 2-4 years of experience in risk management, data analysis, underwriting, and credit operations within the NBFC or digital lending ecosystem.

- Proven expertise in scaling and managing lending products like Unsecured Personal Loans.

- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, credit sanctioning, and credit policy drafting.

- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Familiarity with RBI guidelines and regulatory frameworks for lending products.
