Risk Analyst

About the Role:

- We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organization's financial performance, reputation, and operations.

- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop risk management strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, assess, and monitor various types of risks (financial, operational, market, credit, compliance, etc.) affecting the organization.

- Analyze risk data and generate detailed reports for management to support informed decision-making.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Conduct risk assessments and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts.

- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, compliance, operations) to address risk-related issues.

- Support the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks and policies.

- Participate in audits and assist in remediation of risk-related findings.

- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

- Communicate risk findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's /master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related role.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar).

- Knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
