Retention Marketing Manager
Job Description:
As a Retention Marketing Manager, your goal will be to maximize customer lifetime value by building meaningful relationships through email, SMS, WhatsApp, and loyalty strategies. You'll create data-driven journeys that re-engage customers, increase repeat purchase rates, and build long-term brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end CRM strategy across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications.
- Develop and optimize lifecycle journeys: welcome, replenishment, win-back, post-purchase, and loyalty flows.
- Work closely with design/content teams to craft high-converting creatives and messaging.
- Analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, LTV) and implement A/B testing to improve key metrics.
- Segment customer base based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement to personalize communication.
- Set up and optimize automated workflows using tools like Klaviyo, MoEngage, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to improve personalization through dynamic content and advanced segmentation.
- Work with CX to align communication tone and improve post-purchase experience.
- Drive and manage a loyalty/referral program to increase repeat purchases and brand advocacy.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in retention or CRM marketing for a D2C brand (beauty, wellness, or lifestyle preferred).
- Strong knowledge of tools like Klaviyo, MoEngage, WebEngage, or similar.
- Understanding of customer segmentation, funnel metrics, and LTV optimization.
- Experience running A/B tests and making data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to craft compelling brand communication.
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically to drive retention KPIs.
