Role Overview
As the Retention / CRO Manager, you will own the end-to-end customer retention strategy and conversion rate optimization funnel. You will be responsible for developing segmentation strategies, driving repeat engagement, building intelligent automation workflows, and improving key retention metrics across the customer lifecycle. This is a strategic and execution-heavy role, ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and experience in growth marketing within a D2C setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and execute marketing automation, segmentation, and complex workflow builds to drive retention, engagement, and conversion.
- Own monthly and quarterly planning for critical retention metrics such as Repeat Rate,
- Activation Rate, and Resurrection Rate, and ensure delivery of targets.
- Lead the development of customer intelligence frameworks including churn prediction models and most valuable customer (MVC) analysis.
- Develop and implement data-driven segmentation strategies to personalize communication and reduce churn.
- Monitor and optimize channel-level performance across visits, orders, revenue, and conversion rates.
- Maximize customer lifetime value (CLV) and implement profitability-driven retention strategies.
- Identify new audience segments and leads to enhance marketing ROI.
- Collaborate closely with product, creative, and performance teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
What We're Looking For
- 7-13 years of experience in retention, CRM, or growth roles within a digital-first or D2C environment.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Clevertap or equivalent.
- Strong ability to derive insights from data and build customer-centric marketing strategies.
- Proven track record in executing lifecycle marketing campaigns and linking performance to business goals.
- Deep understanding of campaign planning, execution, and performance measurement.
- Analytical, strategic, and execution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
