Role and Responsibilities:
- The logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics operations in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Escalations:
- Follow up and resolve customer escalations via email.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop actionable solutions to prevent future issues.
Team Management:
- Manage, train, and develop support staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Manage the Logistics Coordinator team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Control attrition rates among delivery helpers through effective team engagement and support.
Warehouse Coordination:
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to address and resolve errors and cancellations.
- Ensure efficient and timely processing of orders and returns.
Order and Route Planning:.
- Develop alternative order plans in case of in-transit cancellations.
- Ensure proper route planning and monitoring to optimize delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
- Control route adherence and in-route cancellations to maintain delivery schedules.
Vendor and Cost Management:.
- Manage vendor agreements to ensure cost efficiency and reliable service.
- Negotiate and maintain cost-effective logistics solutions with vendors.
Vehicle and Manpower Planning:.
- Plan and ensure the availability of vehicles required for deliveries.
- Develop and implement manpower and daily task planning to meet operational needs.
Process Improvement:.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics operations and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and control in-transit damage and develop strategies to minimize occurrences.
Repair and Installation TAT Control:.
- Ensure timely repair and installation services by monitoring and controlling Turn-Around Time (TAT).
Escalation Handling:.
- Handle escalations effectively and ensure a systematic approach to resolving issues.
- Conduct RCA and implement actionable plans to prevent recurrences.
Qualifications.
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
