Qualification: CA/ CMA/ICWAI/ACCA

Main responsibilities:

Overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the integrity of accounting information. This role may involve managing people, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and implementing internal controls.

Financial Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (viz, IFRS, IndAS).

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.

Accounting Operations:

- Supervise daily accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

Compliance & Audit:

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws.

- Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Monitor budget performance and report variances.
