Job Title: Account Manager - New Business Acquisition

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to lead our new business acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients for our IT cloud services and application development solutions. This role requires a proactive, high-energy individual with a strong track record in sales hunting and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development and Hunting:

- Actively hunt for new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry connections.

- Identify and target potential clients who align with our service offerings.

Prospecting and Qualification:

- Conduct thorough research on potential clients to understand their IT needs and pain points.

- Qualify leads based on their potential for conversion into paying clients.

Pitching and Proposal Development:

- Develop and deliver compelling pitches to prospective clients, highlighting the value of our cloud services and application development solutions.

- Create tailored proposals that address client needs and differentiate our offerings from competitors.

Relationship Building and Networking:

- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies.

- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand our network and identify new opportunities.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with sales, technical, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with our overall business strategy and to leverage their expertise in developing solutions.

- Participate in strategy sessions to contribute insights on market trends and new business opportunities.

Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in cloud services and application development.

- Use this intelligence to refine our service offerings and improve competitive positioning.

Reporting and Performance Metrics:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and new business wins in CRM systems.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and pipeline growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience in sales hunting and new business development, preferably in IT cloud services and application development.

- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and application development methodologies.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- High Energy and Motivation: A go-getter attitude with high energy levels to drive new business acquisition efforts.

- Resilience: Strong resilience to handle rejections and maintain a positive outlook in a fast-paced sales environment.
