Position - Retail Planner
Role :
- Retail planner advises retail stores on all aspects of strategy, planning and development to maximize sales.
- Retail planners use sales information to forecast the best products to sell and next possible trends.
- He-she works towards converting inventory to sales in the least possible time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on Buy plan-OTB plans based on business projections.
- Analyzes actual sales to plan, to monitor progress of product line across stores and establish current and future trends.
- Assign base stock, category-wise for each store, based on past trends and ensure each category is adequately represented at each store at all times.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
- Liaise with the buyer, store teams and logistics to ensure products are on the move to meet the sales targets.
- Generate and analyze inventory and sales reports.
- Provide feedback on inventory health at various stores, circulate periodic reports like sell through, top sellers, slow movers, size set availability etc.
- Build incentive plans for store teams depending on prices, product and push strategy.
Role Requisites:
- The stores meet-exceed their product-wise targets consistently i.e. right product at the right store at the right price.
- Achieving 65% sell through at 100% price, with minimum 85% overall sell through of all products.
- Accuracy of all types of MIS facilitating business results.

Education & Experience Required
- Minimum 7 year of experience of handling single or multiple store in premium-luxury segment.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
- Ability to mobilize inventory to sales across stores.
- Liaise with the buyer, store teams and logistics to ensure products are on the move to meet the sales targets.
- Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
- Demonstrate strong business understanding with flair for fashion retailing.
