Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Relationship Manager to join our Mid-Market Group (MMG) team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a strong track record in managing mid-sized corporate clients.

The role involves end-to-end relationship management, including acquisition of new clients, credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and cross-selling of banking products. The candidate should possess strong market knowledge, credit underwriting skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market corporate clients in the Ahmedabad region.

- Acquire new clients through business development and referrals.

- Conduct credit assessments and prepare detailed credit proposals.

- Ensure timely renewals, reviews, and compliance of all portfolio accounts.

- Collaborate with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Legal) to structure and deliver tailored financial solutions.

- Monitor market trends and client performance to manage risk proactively.

- Achieve revenue targets through cross-selling of banking and financial products (trade finance, treasury, cash management, etc.).

- Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing strategic banking solutions.

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate/SME banking, preferably in MMG.

- Proven expertise in credit appraisal and relationship management.

- Sound understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory guidelines.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong local market knowledge of Ahmedabad and surrounding regions.

- MBA/CA or equivalent qualification in finance or banking preferred.

Location: Ahmedabad (frequent local travel may be required)
