Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and target Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in export activities who require trade finance solutions to manage their working capital and facilitate international sales.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives to promote the companys export factoring products and services within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, finance managers, and export heads within MSME businesses.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, understand industry trends, and stay informed about the competitive landscape in export finance.
- Solution Selling:
Effectively educate potential exporters on the comprehensive benefits and advantages of export factoring as a flexible and efficient alternative to traditional trade finance instruments.
- Analyze and understand the specific export processes, receivable financing requirements, and challenges faced by individual clients.
- Customize and tailor export factoring solutions to precisely meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring a strong value proposition and alignment with their business goals.
- Customer Onboarding:
Guide newly acquired clients through the complete onboarding process, ensuring full compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely and proactively with internal teams, including credit assessment, operations, and compliance departments, to ensure a smooth and efficient client integration process.
- Address and resolve all client queries and concerns related to documentation requirements, financing terms, payment processes, and other aspects of the export factoring agreement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong communication and collaboration to ensure smooth service delivery, address any issues, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure operational efficiency, seamless processing of client transactions, and the overall smooth delivery of services.
- Represent the company professionally at relevant industry events, trade fairs, seminars, and forums to actively generate new leads, expand the companys network, and enhance brand visibility within the export community.
- Performance Tracking:
Consistently strive to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the organization for business development and client acquisition.
- Provide regular and comprehensive updates and reports to management on sales activities, the status of the sales pipeline, progress towards targets, and valuable market feedback gathered from client interactions.
Requirements:
Education: Masters degree in business administration, marketing, finance, international business, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of trade finance principles, export processes, international trade regulations, and the specific needs and challenges faced by MSME exporters.
Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build rapport with potential clients, and effectively close deals to achieve sales targets.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze client financial information, understand their business needs, and develop customized solutions.
Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with KYC/AML regulations and compliance procedures within the financial services industry.
Results-Oriented: A highly motivated and driven individual with a strong focus on achieving results and exceeding expectations.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless client service.
