Regulatory Reporting Role - NBFC

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters within the NBFC/Bank.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory returns and reports to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

- Interpret and implement RBI circulars, guidelines, and other regulatory requirements within the organization.

- Monitor and assess compliance risks across departments and develop effective mitigation plans.

- Maintain and update internal compliance policies in accordance with regulatory updates and business needs.

- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are being followed.

- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities during inspections and compliance audits.

- Coordinate and deliver training programs to internal teams on compliance and regulatory expectations.

- Keep senior management informed on compliance status and emerging risks through regular reporting.

- Proactively monitor updates from RBI and other regulatory bodies to ensure immediate action and alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 2-7 years of experience working in the compliance function of an NBFC or Bank.

- Solid understanding of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs/Banks.

- Proven experience in preparation and filing of regulatory returns (such as NBS returns, ALM, CRILC, FIU, etc.) with the RBI.

- Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks such as FEMA, Companies Act, SEBI, KYC/AML guidelines, etc.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- High level of integrity and professional ethics.

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience in leading or overseeing the compliance function in an NBFC or Bank.

- Familiarity with compliance management tools or software.

- Ability to interface effectively with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
