Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving sales and revenue growth within a south region.
- Encompassing tasks like managing a sales team, developing strategies, and ensuring sales targets are met.
- Developing and implementing regional sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region.
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring accurate forecasting.
- Developing and implementing sales plans and budgets.
- Leading and motivating a team of sales representatives or managers within the region.
- Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Setting sales targets and quotas for the team and individuals.
- Monitoring and evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and addressing any issues.
- Focus on revenue generation.
- 3PL New Business development.
- Opening calls for WH & Transportation.
- New Lead Generation, opening new calls and follow up till closure.
- Following up on leads provided by the company to push new sales.
- Follow up with existing customers for project loads and incremental business.
- Monthly & Quarterly review with existing customers for client retention and service excellence.
- Achieving sales budgets and be aggressive in generating new business in Contract Logistics.
- Capable to close business with clients and be proactive in lead generation and follow up with customers.
Desired Candidate's Profile:
- 10+ years of experience with sufficient experience and knowledge in 3PL warehouse industry.
- Must have Contract Logistics/Warehouse Space selling experience.
- Ability to comprehend general strategy guidelines and implement the same.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong software skills (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.)
- Ability to negotiate.
- Willingness to travel in the region.
