Job Description:
Business Expansion & Sales Growth:
- Identify and onboard leading MBO chains, distributors, and large-format retailers in Southern states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).
- Achieve sell-in and sell-out targets for the region and ensure strong YoY growth.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies in line with the brand's India GTM strategy.
Market & Retailer Negotiations:
- Negotiate store space, in-store visibility, and premium positioning for Carter's in key MBOs.
- Build strategic partnerships with leading kidswear retailers to secure prime shelf space and exclusivity where possible.
- Work closely with buyers, category heads, and regional distributors to maximize profitability and ensure optimal terms of trade.
- Retail Operations, Merchandising & Financial Discipline
- Ensure optimum inventory levels across stores, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with merchandising & VM teams to maintain brand visibility and in-store experience.
- Monitor competition and propose tactical pricing & promotions to increase Carter's market share.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables to maintain a healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding dues.
- Keep a sharp focus on sustainable bottom-line growth by balancing revenue generation with cost efficiency.
Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis:
- Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activity, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Provide insights on customer preferences, evolving retail trends, and new business opportunities.
- Develop region-specific marketing strategies to drive customer engagement & sales.
Team Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead and mentor a regional sales team (if applicable), ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Collaborate with internal teams - merchandising, marketing, finance, and supply chain - to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish strong relationships with store managers, franchisees, and distributors for long-term growth
