We are hiring 2 Regional Sales Manager - General Trade and Modern Trade for a leading FMCG brand.

Position: 1. West & South India.

Position 2: North India

Key Responsibilities -

- Drive Modern Trade retail sales for entire West & South India OR NORTH INDIA

- Plan & implement the sales strategy for existing portfolio of skus as well as new launches.

- Lead end to end of sales process - sales pitch, negotiation, distribution, supply chain, key account management, payment follow up, etc.

- Drive sales promotional campaigns, offers & shopper centric activations in all key modern trade chains

- Drive sell-in & sell-out, Joint Business Plans with national retail store chains to drive market share growth

- Develop network of channel partners - wholesalers, distributers, retailers across the region

- Build the brand & its presence in Leading MT Chains (Eg Reliance, D-Mart, Metro Cash & carry, Spencers, Spar, Star bazaar, etc)

- Lead the team to ensure timely payments collection & ledger reconciliations

- Work cross functionally with manufacturing to ensure timeline dispatches & deliveries are made and an efficient SOP is followed for supply chain

- Identify new opportunities, geographies & channels for sales expansion

- Drive GT Sales Strategy - Develop and implement growth strategies for General Trade (GT), ensuring market penetration and revenue growth.

- Distribution & Channel Management - Expand and optimize distribution networks, managing wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.

- Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives.

- Market Expansion & Execution - Identify new market opportunities and drive execution excellence in GT & MT

- Trade Marketing & Promotions - Develop and execute trade marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence.

- P&L Responsibility - Manage sales budgets, forecasting, and overall profitability of the GT vertical.

Key Skills & Qualification:

- At least 12 years' experience in Modern Trade & General Trade

- Experience in sales of FMCG products (Home care, personal care, cosmetics, packaged foods etc)

- Network in Modern Trade chains (Eg Reliance, D-Mart, Metro Cash & carry, Spencers, Spar, Star bazaar, etc)

- Proven track record of scaling businesses and achieving revenue targets.
