Key Responsibilities:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth across South India. Your role will include:
- Leading and mentoring Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and TSI teams to achieve regional sales targets.
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
- Expanding and managing distribution networks to ensure comprehensive coverage across urban and rural markets.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Monitoring regional performance through sales reports and implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to plan trade promotions, campaigns, and market activations.
- Ensuring efficient territory management, inventory planning, and pricing strategies.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in managing regional sales operations in the FMCG sector, preferably in food, soaps & detergents, or confectionery.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-level sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in territory management, distribution expansion, and business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of FMCG industry dynamics and consumer behavior in South India.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Multilingual abilities and computer literacy are an added advantage.
