Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Head - West to lead and drive sales operations across the Western region of India.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving revenue and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales managers and executives across the Western region.
- Drive business expansion through new client acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, channel partners, and government agencies.
- Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of regional sales initiatives with the company's overall business strategy.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and generate periodic reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies, telecom regulations, and local market guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 12-18 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role within the telecommunications sector.
- Strong knowledge of telecom products, services, and B2B sales channels.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage large teams and handle multi-regional operations.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Western region.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing enterprise telecom solutions (fiber, wireless, mobility, IoT, etc.
Existing relationships with key decision-makers in telecom and related industries.
Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite
