Reporting To: Zonal Recovery Head / Head Collections

Job Description:

The Regional Recovery Manager is responsible for overseeing the recovery and resolution of delinquent accounts across branches within the assigned region. This role ensures effective execution of recovery strategies, manages field collection teams, and ensures compliance with regulatory and bank policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive recovery performance for delinquent and NPA (Non-Performing Asset) accounts.

- Lead and monitor field recovery teams, legal teams, and agency partners.

- Implement and track recovery strategies (including legal recourse, settlements, and repossession).

- Liaise with legal, credit, and operations teams to expedite recovery processes.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines during recovery efforts.

- Provide MIS reports and updates to senior management.

- Train and guide team members and recovery agents.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Graduate/Postgraduate / Business Management.

- 10plus years of experience in banking collections or recovery

- Strong knowledge of SARFAESI, DRT, Lok Adalat, and recovery legal framework( (preferably secured/unsecured loans).)

- Must be currently working in a bank

- Leadership, negotiation, and field management skills are critical.

- Proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.
