Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Growth

- Develop and implement state-level strategies for business growth across liabilities, assets, and third-party products.

- Drive new customer acquisition across retail and SME segments.

- Ensure achievement of sales and revenue targets by branches.

2. Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cluster Heads/Branch Managers.

- Build a strong performance-driven culture through training, coaching, and goal alignment.

- Ensure effective succession planning and leadership development.

3. Customer Experience & Relationship Management

- Ensure consistent delivery of superior customer service across branches.

- Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements and customer retention initiatives.

- Resolve escalated customer grievances promptly.

4. Compliance, Risk & Operations

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines, internal controls, audit requirements, and KYC norms.

- Monitor and manage credit risk, operational risk, and reputational risk.

- Ensure proper functioning of day-to-day operations and systems in all branches.

5. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

- Liaise with central/regional product, credit, HR, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

- Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including regulators, government bodies, and corporate clients (where applicable).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Business growth (CASA, term deposits, retail loans, third-party products)

- Customer acquisition & retention

- Audit scores and regulatory compliance

- Branch profitability

- Employee productivity and attrition

- Operational efficiency and service levels

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

- 1218 years of relevant experience in branch banking, retail banking, or financial services.

- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Cluster/Area/Zonal Manager).

- Strong understanding of banking products, regulatory environment, and local market dynamics.
