About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Regional Business Manager (RBM) to lead our Loan Against Property (LAP) - Home Loan vertical in the Pune region. The ideal candidate must have successfully managed a large team and an extensive network of 200+ branches, with strong expertise in LAP products and an in-depth understanding of pricing strategies (interest rates around 12%).
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Execution: Drive business targets for LAP Home Loans across assigned branches, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
Team Management: Lead, guide, and mentor Area Sales Managers, Branch Managers, and frontline sales staff across 200+ branches.
Channel Development: Expand and manage DSAs, connectors, and channel partners to boost LAP disbursals.
P&L Ownership: Ensure interest rates, including 12%+ pricing, align with portfolio profitability and risk standards.
Risk & Compliance: Monitor credit quality, ensure documentation and processes are as per company policy and RBI/NBFC norms.
Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, interest rates, and market trends to recommend changes in strategy.
Customer Centricity: Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery, fast turnaround times, and issue resolution.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in Home Loans / LAP in NBFCs, Banks, or Housing Finance Companies.
- Proven track record of managing large branch networks (200+) and high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of LAP/Home Loan underwriting, pricing (12% interest rates), and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Pune/Maharashtra market is highly preferred.
