Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and analytically strong Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience for a Commercial Finance role, in high-performance environments such as consumer tech or consulting. The role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of business to partner with leadership and drive value across key business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Partnering

- Collaborate with functional leaders (Product, Marketing, Growth, Ops) to provide financial insights that influence decision-making.

- Evaluate new initiatives, product launches, and campaigns from a financial and strategic ROI perspective.

2. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Own the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly reforecasting processes.

- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis aligned with business goals.

3. Performance Management & MIS

- Drive cadence of weekly/monthly business reviews with actionable insights.

- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and metrics relevant to a consumer tech/online business model.

4. Revenue & Cost Analytics

- Deep dive into revenue levers (CAC, LTV, conversion funnels) and cost drivers.

- Partner with Marketing/Growth teams to optimize spends and improve ROI.

5. Investment & Project Evaluation

- Build business cases and financial models for strategic projects and capital allocation.

- Conduct post-implementation reviews and track actual vs. projected outcomes.

6. Financial Governance & Controls

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.

- Partner with external auditors and consultants as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- Experience: 0-5 years of post-qualification experience in Consumer, consumer tech, management/financial consulting firms

- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, matrixed, data-driven environments.

- Strong command over financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint; exposure to tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Must be willing to work full-time from office
