About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training & Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying training needs, designing learning solutions, and delivering high-impact training programs focusing on financial products, behavioral development, and performance enhancement to strengthen employee capabilities and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze Training Needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify training gaps across departments.
- Use surveys, interviews, and performance data to determine areas for improvement.
2. Create Strategic Training Plans
- Develop customized training plans aligned with organizational goals and business priorities.
- Prioritize skill development and knowledge enhancement for targeted roles.
3. Design and Develop Training Modules
- Create engaging and effective learning content including workshops, e-learning modules, and seminars.
- Integrate modern training methodologies and technology for improved learning outcomes.
4. Deliver Product & Process Training
- Conduct training sessions on financial products such as Mutual Funds (MF), PMS, AIFs, etc.
- Continuously update training content to reflect product and regulatory changes.
5. Conduct Behavioral, Sales & Cognitive Skills Training
- Develop and facilitate programs focused on behavioral competencies, sales strategies, and cognitive skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning across all levels.
6. Manage Induction Programs
- Lead onboarding and induction programs to support seamless integration of new hires.
- Communicate company policies, culture, and job expectations effectively.
7. Support Performance Improvement
- Identify underperforming employees and design personalized training plans.
- Track progress and provide coaching or mentoring support as required.
8. Evaluate Training Effectiveness
- Use feedback tools, assessments, and performance metrics to measure training impact.
- Present training outcome reports and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills & Competencies
Functional/Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of financial products: MF, PMS, AIF, etc.
- Strong background in portfolio management and financial planning.
- Expertise in training technologies, instructional design, and adult learning methods.
Behavioral Skills
- Proactive leadership with a customer-first approach.
- Excellent team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and engage cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- 510 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the BFSI sector.
- Proven success in designing, delivering, and measuring learning interventions.
- Prior experience in sales or frontline customer engagement is an advantage.
- Certifications such as Train the Trainer, NISM, or related L&D accreditations are preferred.
