Job Summary:
- We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex IT or Banking domain projects.
- The individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the Bank and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, coordination, communication, risk management, and reporting.
- The candidate must have proven experience in stakeholder management and a strong background in structured project governance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, quality, and budget.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the client (Bank) and serve as the primary interface for all project matters.
- Ensure implementation of testing processes as defined in the RFP document.
- Regularly interface with the Bank SPOC to align on project scope, milestones, and potential risks.
- Conduct periodic project review and status meetings with internal teams and the client to provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
- Manage and maintain all project-related documentation and communications through official Bank SPOC channels.
- Review and administer the Project Change Control Procedures in coordination with Bank stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues or conflicts, proactively involving Bank SPOC for collaborative resolution.
- Escalate unresolved risks/issues to senior management promptly, when required.
- Deliver all required periodic reports, project plans, schedules, and status documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and client-specific frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in managing IT/BFSI domain projects in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and frameworks (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with large-scale clients, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.
Certifications (Mandatory):
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification OR
- PRINCE2 Certification (Practitioner level preferred) OR
