Role Overview:

We are seeking a Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of Qlik-based BI projects within our organization. This role will ensure the timely, high-quality implementation of BI solutions, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and Qlik developers. As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of BI projects, manage the Qlik BI team, and work to continuously improve our BI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Delivery & Execution:

- Manage end-to-end delivery of Qlik BI projects from requirements gathering through to post-deployment support.

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT, and data teams to define project scope, objectives, and priorities.

- Track and manage project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring resolution as required.

2. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor a team of Qlik BI developers, analysts, and specialists.

- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.

- Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards for Qlik development (e.g., Qlik Sense).

3. Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for business users, product owners, and project stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project status and progress.

- Ensure the BI solutions align with business requirements and strategic objectives.

4. Process Improvement & Best Practices:

- Implement and enforce best practices in Qlik BI development, data governance, and data visualization.

- Continuously improve project delivery processes and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum approaches.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

5. Quality & Risk Management:

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality BI solutions by maintaining robust testing, validation, and documentation practices.

- Manage risks proactively, identifying and mitigating potential issues early in the project lifecycle.

6. Change Management & Support:

- Oversee change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions from development to deployment.

- Work with support teams to ensure ongoing maintenance and user support post-deployment.

- Manage updates and new feature rollouts as part of Qlik BI system improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in BI project management or delivery management, with at least 2-3 years in a role directly managing Qlik BI solutions.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple departments.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of Qlik BI tools (Qlik Sense).

- Familiarity with BI data models, ETL processes, data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.

- Strong working knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.

Leadership:

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Project Management Skills:

- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Jira).

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.

- Experience managing budgets, resources, and risks.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. A PMP, Agile, or relevant certification is a plus.

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of advanced data analytics, machine learning models, or data science.

- Familiarity with cloud-based Qlik solutions (e.g., Qlik Sense SaaS).

- Experience with data governance frameworks and data security.
