Sales Manager of Hospital Turnkey projects including Modular Operation Theater

Candidate is required to visit clients and promote products and presentations, demonstration up to order finalization.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and delivering above sales and service contracts to prospective and existing customers in their assigned territory.

Role & responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the PSU and Government sector to identify potential clients, projects, and opportunities.

- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to stay ahead in the industry.

Business Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the PSU and Government sector effectively.

- Monitor and analyze government market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government organizations and PSUs.

- Understand clients' needs, concerns, and pain points, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and operational departments, to create compelling and competitive proposals.

- Ensure that all proposals comply with the requirements and regulations of the government procurement process.

Contract Negotiation:

- Lead contract negotiations and discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.

- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory aspects throughout the negotiation process.

Networking and Partnerships:

- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and expand the professional network.

- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen the company's position in the PSU and Government sector.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

- Regularly monitor the performance of business development activities and initiatives.

- Generate reports and present progress to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their individual and team targets.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Minimum 10 years previous sales experience in the hospital market, preferably selling Modular OT Projects.

- BE / MBA in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field required.

- Ability to travel extensively within an assigned geographic territory.

- Strong ability to sell products based upon customer need; excellent sales presentation skills;.

- Strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns; ability to quickly learn new products and services.

- Strong ability to communicate at all levels including Hospital ICU Department, Anesthesia, Hospital Administration with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong ability to develop long-term business relationships; strong listening skills; ability to interact with other departments to support the servicing of the customer.

- Strong ability to manage and execute multiple projects at the same time; organize work, self and support staff as necessary.

- Strong desire to succeed; ability to work with support staff to encourage maximum teamwork and customer service.

- Professional manners and appearance.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business development tools.
