Protiviti - Consultant - Client Onsite - CA

Skills required:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal Audit, preferably in a manufacturing/steel industry.

2. Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting standards.

3. Knowledge of auditing standards and methodologies

4. Experience with SAP ERP and audit tools.

5. Good understanding of laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

6. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication and report-writing skills.

8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple audits simultaneously.

9. Auditing experience in areas / processes like : Production, Fixed assets, Procurement, Record-to-report, FSCP, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Maintenance, IPQC, Logistics, Gate-in Gate-out, Order to Cash, Capex, Costing; Logistics ; Repairs and maintenance; Inventory / Material accounting; Operations, ITGC etc.

10. Informed about emerging risks and industry leading practices

11. Updated on changes in regulatory requirements

12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in internal auditing (IA)

Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Execution of Audits

i. Execute internal audit plans in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

ii. Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across various departments, ensuring internal control effectiveness.

iii. Identify and document key risks and controls within the organization.

iv. Perform audit procedures, including interviews, document review, data analysis, and testing.

v. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.

vi. Identify weaknesses in existing systems and recommend corrective actions to management. Suggest process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

1. Reporting and Communication

i. Prepare detailed audit reports, highlight key findings, and present recommendations to senior management.

ii. Follow up on the implementation of recommendations to ensure corrective actions are taken.

iii. Maintain open communication with auditees throughout the audit process

Other aspects:

1. Candidate will be on-roll employee of Protiviti.

2. This will be a secondment role wherein the candidate will be an Individual Contributor; he/ she will have to deliver independently with minimal supervision from Client IA Team.

3. The candidate must relocate to the selected city at their own expense, with no additional cost to Protiviti

4. The candidate will undergo a quarterly performance review conducted by the Client.

- Deployment will be extended only if the candidate meets the Client's expectations as per the review.

- If the Client does not extend the candidate's deployment, they will be required to relocate to another Protiviti office location at their own expense, with no additional cost to Protiviti.

5. No reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses (OPE) will be provided.
