Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects in the Fintech domain, with a focus on regulatory reporting, compliance initiatives, and IT system implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technology and business processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across BFSI IT projects with a regulatory reporting focus.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, sales, etc.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
- Drive continuous process improvement and adoption of industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in project management roles within BFSI and IT sectors.
- Proven techno-functional experience - ability to analyze business requirements and understand technical systems.
- Fair Knowledge of banking financial products and associated business processes including money market, securities, deposits, loans, FX, derivatives, etc.
- Familiarity with regulatory platforms, reporting tools, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
- Quick analytical prowess with MS Excel and ability to interpret the same in a concise manner in MS PowerPoint.
- Proficient in project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and data transformation concepts.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience interacting with cross-border teams or clients in a global delivery model.
