Project Manager - Medical Devices

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead product development initiatives in the medical devices domain, specifically focusing on wearable and diagnostic devices. The ideal candidate will work with biosensors such as EEG, ECG, and piezoelectric sensors to design, develop, and validate cutting-edge medical devices. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong coordination skills, and a thorough understanding of medical device compliance and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead or support product development of wearable and diagnostic medical devices from concept to prototype.

- Work with biosensors (ECG, EEG, piezoelectric) for signal acquisition, processing, and analysis.

- Design and validate proof-of-concept (PoC) models for new devices.

- Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless system integration.

- Supervise or coordinate with junior team members, cross-functional teams, and vendors.

- Ensure documentation, testing, and compliance in accordance with relevant medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, etc.).

- Support product lifecycle management, including design reviews, risk assessment, and validation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 4 years of experience in medical device product development, preferably in wearable or diagnostic devices.

- Hands-on experience with biosensors such as ECG, EEG, and piezoelectric sensors.

- Strong understanding of signal acquisition, processing, and analysis techniques.

- Knowledge of proof-of-concept development, hardware-software integration, and prototype testing.

- Familiarity with medical device standards, regulatory compliance, and documentation practices.

- Strong project management, coordination, and team leadership skills.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
