About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of software projects with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will manage the full lifecycle of SaaS solution implementations using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
The role requires excellent leadership, client management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects, risks, and dependencies while driving continuous improvement in project delivery practices.
Skills & Experience:
1) 8+ years of project management experience in software delivery within complex environments.
2) Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
3) Proven success managing large-scale projects and portfolios with multiple dependencies.
4) Knowledge of the UK Energy and/or Non-Household Water Market (required).
5) Strong stakeholder management skills with experience at a strategic level.
6) Expertise in project planning, forecasting, risk and issue management, financial oversight, and change management.
7) Experience working with System Integrators.
8) Ability to accurately forecast financials, report monthly revenue, and manage invoicing.
9) Demonstrated track record of delivering fixed-price contracts on budget.
10) Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
11) Strong problem-solving ability and consultative approach.
12) Relevant certifications (Agile PM, PRINCE2, PMI) are an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead the delivery of software projects, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and timelines are met.
2) Act as the primary contact for clients and partners, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
3) Oversee project teams, set performance standards, and remove obstacles to delivery.
4) Manage change, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
5) Champion best practices in Agile and Waterfall project management.
6) Report on budgets, forecasts, staff utilization, and project status.
7) Support sales by contributing to bids/tenders and ensuring project learnings inform pre-sales processes.
8) Ensure adherence to supplier contracts and successful delivery of fixed-price engagements.
