Project Manager - Government/PSU/IT/Power

Location - Shillong, Meghalaya.

Required Skill:

- Competencies. Minimum years of experience 10 years.

- Minimum 2 Years' experience of working with State/ Center Government / PSU.

- Experience of managing/executing an IT solution development & implementation for any State/ Center.

- Government / PSU. Preference would be given to candidate having previous experience of ERP in power sector.

- Minimum 2 Years' experience of working in Power Sector.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Assess current processes, systems, and operational challenges.

- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to gather detailed requirements.

- Develop future-state processes, architecture, and operational mechanisms for solution implementation.

- Conduct AS-IS studies of existing business processes, BPR, and design functional/system requirements.

- Prepare functional requirement specifications (FRS), system requirement specifications (SRS), and. system design documents.

- Create project plans, allocate resources, and oversee execution. Manage system design, development, testing, and data migration. Lead cloud architecture planning, hosting, and maintenance.

- Oversee the development of system architecture, design, and documentation. Supervise MIS/analytics setup, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), system integration, and data migration.

- Ensure smooth post-deployment operations, including bug fixes and updates. Bid process management. Oversee the legacy data digitization.

Skills: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.. Expertise in system design, development, and testing..

- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and hosting environments. Proficiency in drafting technical documentation (FRS, SRS, DPR).

- Proficiency in drafting proposals against RFP. The Project Manager shall work closely with the Power Department stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure successful project execution.
